Making Gold on World of Warcraft - Cataclysm

With the newest expansion soon to be released, World of Warcraft - Cataclysm gives players even more opportunities to make gold quicker and easier than ever before.

To start off with, WoW - Cataclysm will raise the level cap from level 80 to level 85 - allowing maxed out players to level an additional 5 times. The easiest way, by far, to level is by completing quests, and what bonus do you get when you complete quests? That's right - gold! Just by simply getting your character to the max level, you will be on your way to making even more gold.

Although the new expansion of Cataclysm offers two new races - Worgen and Goblins, any player who chooses to create a new character of these races will start off at level 1 (or level 50, if you choose a Death Knight), which means there is no known easy way to earn money through the new races.

One addition to World of Warcraft through the expansion, however, is the offering of a new profession - Archaeology. This new profession is a secondary profession, like First Aid, Fishing, or Cooking, which means you won't have to sacrifice any of your previous hard work in a different profession to pick this one up - it just adds on to the rest. New professions are always the rage when it comes to the expansions (Jewelcrafting and Glyphs were both huge money makers when they were first released) - so be sure to pick up on this profession ASAP and make all of the gold you can off of it - it'll only stay hot for so long.

With the addition of flying mounts in Azeroth, it is assumed that it will be even easier to farm for certain herbs and mining nodes. This also means that, with increased supply, that the prices for these items will probably lower somewhat on the Auction House. Be sure to sell off any overstock that you have now to avoid getting it for even less once the patch is out.

Feel free to post any comments featuring even more ideas of how to make money off of the new expansion of World of Warcraft - all thoughts are appreciated!
